Week 10

This week's lecture was based on decision making. i learnt there are 5 basic steps invovled when doing decision making, these are specifying aims, reviewing the factors, determining the possible courses of action, making the decision, implementing the decision. I learnt these steps are needed to make any decision. risk is also a factor when implementing a decision, i understood there can be certian risks invovled, by being aware of these risk factors, you should also determine the acceptenace level of risk, and only to take those decisions for which the risk is acceptable. Most of the decisions in my life are decided my me, sometimes i can take risks and sometimes i do not, however i have learnt now that there is more to then just making a decision, there are risks invovled and not being aware of these can have serious consquences. So it is best to implement these 5 basic steps in order for the decision, and risk to be acceptable.

  1. My comments are the same as for last week: A thoughtful review of the lecture, but, unlike your earlier blogs, there is little evidence of any personal reflection or critical analysis. Could this be because you have written this blog so long after the lesson?
