Week 9
In this weeks lecture we were taught on CV's,application forms and careers. There were various information on the purpose of writing a CV,style, content, covering letter. In these topics i learned what contents are invovled in writing a CV, the style in which a CV should be written in,the content in what the CV should invovle and lastly the covering letter a introductory letter which is attached to the CV, which encourages the reader to read your CV. Applications forms are another way to show the recruiter you may be the ideal candidate for the job. Applications forms are created by the company so they may elborate on certain topics such as appreance, skills and other abilities. Forms are usually separated into serveral sections which makes it easier to jot down specific topics, which also makes it easier to read. I currently have a reasonably good standard CV, but since the things i learnt in this lecture i have improved on my CV, to widen my horizons and hopefully offer me better career prospects.

A thoughtful review of the lecture, but, unlike your earlier blogs, there is little evidence of any personal reflection or critical analysis. Could this be because you have written this blog so long after the lesson?
